In a traditional Javanese wedding, there is a tradition called ngunduh mantu. The word 'ngunduh' itself comes from Javanese language, which means taking the already mature.

Javanese people usually use the word ngunduh to pluck fruits that are ripe from the tree so as not to rot or be eaten bat. So the term ngunduh mantu can be understood as a procession taking the law is old enough.

In the old days, when there are ethnic Javanese brides who are getting married and then he will be brought by her husband to stay at home with the husband or the groom's family, we conducted in ngunduh mantu procession.
